Events

We celebrate a range of traditional events over the seasons of the year. These include, Christmas Festive Fayre lunches, Robert Burns celebrations, Easter Bunnet teas, St Andrew’s nights, Italian pasta parties and curry dinners. The centre also hosts a ‘Seniors Lunch Club’ on the first Friday of every month. Check out our “What’s On” section for what’s coming up, with fun guaranteed.

Soft-play

Children love this feature at the Carrick Centre and it’s very popular with watching parents too!

At only £2.00 per hour it is also great value for money. While the children are playing you can enjoy a well-earned rest, an aromatic cup of coffee, tea or a drink with snacks, or order your lunch and still keep an eye on the kids.

The soft play has a height guideline, so a rough guide for age suitability is, age 0-8 yrs. And there are three levels for the older children to climb up through and explore and a separate area round to the left, on the floor level, where smaller children can play separately.

While the soft play area is usually open during café hours, it does require regular maintenance and needs to be closed during these times. Please check our Facebook site to confirm if the soft-play is open.

Please note that the soft play is not supervised by staff and parents are responsible for their own children.
