Jonathan Rusk

Has been working at Carrick Academy, Maybole, for 25 years. 12 of those as Depute Head Teacher whose remit covers pupil support and pastoral care. Works closely with some of the most vulnerable families in the local community and liaises with a wide range of partners and external agencies. Says: “I bring an insight into the needs of our young people and their parents. The Carrick Centre is one of the School’s key partners offering many of our students opportunities for work experience and personal development.”
